You’ve heard all the jokes about men’s midlife crises—the new sports car, the new exercise regime…and the new girlfriend. But when you’re the wife trying to cope, it’s no laughing matter. Reflections of 223 Newbury Street, will be hosting a Girls Night Out with Maine author Kate Nelligan on Thursday, March 27th
from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Kate Nelligan will be bringing her humor to Boston this spring by sharing her wit and wisdom behind the books that are a parody of the children’s classic Pat the Bunny
with Pat the Bride, Pat the Husband
and her newest, Pat the Husband: Mid-life Crisis
. The evening will offer guests the chance to enjoy a casual girls night out complete with laughs by Kate who will sign books as well as share her insights into the parodies of Pat the Bride and Pat the Husband. Additional Girls Night Out activities will include special treats, a drawing, refreshments and more surprises! Space is limited so please RSVP to the Reflections at firstname.lastname@example.org
“I have hosted and coordinated countless Girls Nights Out for my friends over the years,” says Reflections owner Jennifer Hill, “so when we learned that Kate Nelligan was available, I couldn’t resist the chance to kick off a ‘Girls Night Out’ Series at Reflections.”
Hill says to stay tuned for the series to continue in May and then resume in fall.
