Tito’s Specialty Foods, now at Henderson County Farmers Market

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. - March 5, 2014 - PRLog -- The Henderson County Tailgate Market gave approval for Tito’s specialty foods to now sell their fresh local products at the farmers market.  “We’re really excited to be in the counties oldest running farmers market.  Hendersonville is our home and we’re proud to be there and serve the community as part of this market”, enthused Mike Vitelli, Production Manager of Tito’s Specialty foods.

The market gave their approval to Tito and Mike on Wednesday evening and look forward to seeing the continued success of Tito’s products.  “We’re always looking to support the local community, and to see people’s lives enriched by great fresh food.  Part of our vision is to redefine what great local foods, with no preservatives are.  What better place to showcase this than here in Hendersonville” stated Tito Miccuci, owner and CEO of Tito’s Specialty Foods.

Known for their Hummus, the company has continued to broaden their product range along with the restaurants and retail locations where their products are available.   Their approach to the best ingredients as the foundation for their fresh, no preservative, foods is not only refreshing, they taste great.

A new seasonal product they released just for the Super bowl was their ‘Buffalo Blue Cheese’ hummus.  It was so popular they have had many requests to make it a fan favorite.  More seasonal varieties are underway, along with a new range of salad dressings and marinades.

Their products can be found in various retail locations as well as used by a number of local restaurants.   Some of these establishments are Hannah Flanagan’s, Monte's Sub Shop, St Paul Mountain Vineyard, Just Vino and many more including a number of the local markets, including the Hendersonville Co-Op, French Broad food Co-Op, and newly opened Katuah Market.
