“Last year Denverities came out in droves and received more than 20,000 stamps,” said PJ Hoberman, co-founder of The Passport Program. “Our goal was to get people to explore Denver and check out bars outside of their everyday neighborhoods.”
In 2013, The Passport Program was introduced in Denver, Colo. The idea was simple: a pocket-sized black book full of two-for-one drink specials at more than 50 of the best bars in town. The Passport aims to help people find new, independent, local places to hang out and to provide participating venues with a new base of interested customers.
The program launches Memorial Day weekend and runs through Labor Day weekend. Each Passport is valid for one special at each establishment;

Passports will be available for $10 in Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins and Nashville and $25 in Brooklyn at ThePassportProgram.com. Participating venues will be announced on Monday, April 29.
