The eGuide is a 47-page book that shows musicians how to profitably plan, promote, sell and perform successful and affordable house concerts. Performing an invitation-only show in someone’s private home is a great way for an artist to build a special connection with their fans.
The eGuide lays out a system independent artists can follow to develop their own house concert program. Topics include: finding fans to host a show, supporting your hosts with solid communication, keeping a host from cancelling a show at the last minute, using peer pressure to sell more merchandise and getting attendees on a newsletter list.
Also available is a 19-page companion guide for fans – The Ultimate Guide to Hosting a House Concert. With this, artists now have the perfect tool to educate their fans on how to put on an intimate and exciting house concert. Artists are encouraged to share this guide with potential house concert hosts.
“This is really incredible! If I had this when I started, it would have been a great foundation to start kicking some house concert goals from the first show,” said singer/songwriter Anthony Snape after reading an advance copy of the eGuide.
It was while working with Snape on his house concert marketing that Jennine and Neil Kristianson set out to write a guide to educate Snape’s fans about house concerts. The project grew from there to become a two guide set for both musicians and fans.
The Kristiansons are house concert hosts themselves so they are able to share a fan’s perspective and the emotional connection fans feel toward artists. “House concerts are the best way for artists to establish a deep connection with their fans,” stated Jennine. We couldn’t find a quality resource for artists and fans to capitalize on house concerts, so we set out to make the definitive eGuide on the subject.”
House Concerts: build a fan base one living room at a time and The Ultimate Guide to Hosting a House Concert are currently available on the Amazon Kindle Store.
