"I'm thrilled with how the new site turned out," Patterson said. "As my role in video game culture has continued to evolve I'm happy to have a website that has evolved to grow with it just as much. I look forward to what the new modern design can bring to my content and my continued interaction with my audience."
Patterson is scheduled to speak at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas this Sunday, March 9. Joining him and his partner Rachel Lara is Chris Wiseman, known to GameStop patrons as "Captain Redbeard." The trio will be speaking in a panel called "Video Gaming IS Pop Culture."
The 38-year old Texas native also recently announced that he is co-writing 'No Princess in the Castle', a film that will feature the stories of women in the video game industry and culture.
