Baterbys is at it again! They will be hosting another upcoming event for the art lovers in Winter Park and Orlando. This time, they are hoping to educate the youth, and youthful spirits, on their artist of the month: Henri Matisse. It will be held at the new Winter Park Village location (460 North Orlando Ave., Unit 116, Winter Park, FL 32789) on April 12, 2014 from 12 to 3 PM.

The event is free of admission fees and will include complimentary movie theatre inspired drinks and snacks. Baterbys will be pulling out various works by Matisse from the vault to help stimulate creativity during their paper cutout activity. There will also be a short book reading and documentary viewing to help educate people from all ages about this innovative and well-known Modern artist. There will also be a raffle going on throughout the event to give guests a chance to win framed artwork. United Cerebral Palsy (UCP of Central Florida) will be the benefactor of the event, with a portion of the sales and all of the donations raised will be given directly to the organization.
