This timeless classic features period details throughout. It has two levels and sleeps a maximum of eight. There are three queen size beds and two twins. The twins can be put together and converted into a king. The lower level, main floor has about 1200 square feet and includes a parlor and drawing room, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and bath and spa plus another half bath and laundry off the kitchen. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the cozy drawing room which can be made very private. An old-fashioned entry with wooden stairs and balustrade leads to the upper level which has two bedrooms featuring dormer windows and sloping ceilings. One has a queen bed, the other has a trundle bed (2 twins). Between them is a full bath. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, televisions, DVD, CD stereo, WiFi, video and book libraries, laundry, central air conditioning, steam/jet tub/shower and that’s just inside the house. Outside, there are two covered porches, one in front, one in the rear. Both with white wicker furniture. Each overlooks a small cottage garden. Located just a few minutes from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters, SOU and the heart of downtown Ashland, you will be close to all of the fine restaurants, bakeries, coffee houses, breweries, wine houses, art galleries, outdoor stores, and other specialty shops that historic Ashland offers. Don't miss beautiful Lithia Park, Emigrant Lake, or the many hiking trails. At the end of the day you have groceries, wine & beer, and fresh pastries a short walk away. Folks love Maxfield’s.
