Last week Mock rolled out an upgrade to his most recent gym marketing idea. “It seems like a small update, but like anything, continuous incremental improvements add up to results,” Mock says. “We are now able to use overlapping time periods to find new movers with our search tool, whereas before we could only look at time periods that didn’t overlap. What that meant was that due to some new mover databases not being updated fast enough through the public records, we would likely miss out on a fair number of leads. The search tool would then have to extend the search radius farther out, resulting in leads that were a little farther away than we’d prefer. Now, we are able to use overlapping time periods, but not pull any repeat leads. This allows a larger pool of leads to choose from, resulting in leads that are closer to our clients’ facilities. Since convenience of the location is often an important factor of choosing where to workout, this should improve the quality of the leads.”
