Chicago to Host Job Fair for Veterans on April 3

LOVELAND, Ohio - Feb. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH – The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a Veteran Opportunity Expo, a hiring event for veterans and other men and women with military backgrounds, at Macy’s on State Street in Chicago on Thursday, April 3, 2014.  DeVry University will sponsor the event, which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, personnel who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members.

In addition, USAA’s local Wealth Management team is presenting a seminar prior to the career fair at 10:00 a.m. The seminar is titled “Practical Advice for All Stages of Retirement Planning.” All veterans are welcome to attend this session intended to provide information for veterans and spouses as they consider their future retirement.
