PRLog - Feb. 28, 2014 - LOS ANGELES -- Drawing inspiration from campy sci- shows of the ‘60s and ‘70s, such as “Lost in Space,” “Land of the Giants,” “The Twilight Zone” and the horror lms of Dario Argento and George Romero, photographer Patrick McPheron has harmoniously combined these two beloved genres into his latest photography endeavor, "Invasion."
He’s working on completing the project, which is described as a retrofuture universe made up of intriguing architecture, beautiful humans and exquisite aliens. Work began three years ago and the last 10 photos are currently being funded through a Kickstarter.com campaign, located at https://www.kickstarter.com/
a full-scale Los Angeles gallery show, tentatively slated for summer of 2014. Backers who pledge money will receive postcards, magnets, prints and even a chance to be in the series.
"I want clones, mad scientists, abductions, robots, aliens, and bombshells in space suits... it’s what the doctor ordered,” says Patrick.
