The Palmetto Bluff Half Marathon is Expected to Draw Runners from Across the U.S

Feb. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Athletes from across the country will be lacing up their running shoes for the 2nd Annual Palmetto Bluff Half Marathon on Sunday, March 9 at the beautiful Palmetto Bluff community and conservation preserve. $20 from each runner’s registration fee will go to BackPack Buddies, which provides crucial support and assistance to Bluffton area children who are on free or reduced breakfast and lunch plans at school. The Half Marathon is one of the most popular of all marathon races, featuring a distance that is just right for runners of all stripes.

Last year’s race was a great success, bringing in long-distance runners from throughout the U.S., and organizers are expecting that this year’s race to attract even more participants.

All events will be held at Palmetto Bluff, and medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female runners, and to the first place finishers in each age division.
