Boys & Girls Clubs raise $29,000 with auction of three paintings by artist Timothy Raines

SARASOTA, Fla. - Feb. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- An original artwork by artist Timothy Raines sells at charity auction for $15,000, beating previous sales of the artists art. Two additional commission opportunities were auctioned for $7000 each, bringing the total raised for the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County to $29,000.

The artist is known for his abstract paintings in the areas of sports, automotive and sea life and holds licenses with several entities, including Major League Baseball (MLB). This is the second year showing at the renowned Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance and the first year as the “Official Artist”. His abstract take on Ralph Lauren’s famous Mercedes-Benz 710 SSK Trossi Roadster graced the cover of the Concours catalog, VIP tickets and official poster.
