Stacey says “With living in a striving city of diversity – and being adventurous with different garments on the high street and small boutiques – it was a joy to play with outfits whilst I was studying. It was the start of a modelling career in which I’ve worked with fantastic photographers and models alike. For the last 4 years I’ve dreamed of opening my own online shop and now that I have my little boy, Tyler, the decision to “go for it” has been easier to make - what better excuse to do it and make a better life for me and my boy for the future, whilst I am creating outfits and looks for clients that I truly love.
Our current stock ranges from the 1960’s, 1970’ and 1980’s and includes jackets, dresses, skirts, jumpers, shirts & accessories. Plus we have a sale of some items, which makes viewing the online store even more enticing!”
AlterEgo Vintage’s main focus is to mix up various styles and capture different looks using all eras. Stacey organised a fashion “shoot” to kick off the website trading and she and another model – her cousin - showcased a range of different vintage outfits, available on the e-commerce website. This was achieved with the support of other friends - a professional photographer and make-up artist - setting a high standard for the future of AlterEgo and its followers.
