CAPON BRIDGE, W.Va. - Feb. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Chelsea O’Brien of BingeEatingBreakthrough.com recently interviewed writer, photographer, and entrepreneur James Clear. They discussed common mistakes that often trip people up when they’re trying to establish a new habit as well as how to avoid boredom, overcome procrastination and the “Jerry Seinfeld Strategy”.

James Clear is a weight lifter, entrepreneur, and travel photographer. He uses the knowledge that he has acquired with his own experiments and working with others to help them achieve their goals. His firm belief that a balance of athletics, art, and entrepreneurship will make the world better underlies all of his strategies towards achieving personal goals. James says,“I believe that the world would be a better place if we had more people who were putting their sweat, their work, and their vision out into the world.”

In their recent interview James described to Chelsea some habits he has noticed that successful people often share. He discusses how successful people often begin a project before they feel completely prepared to do it. “If you’re working on something important, then you’ll never feel ready.” Successful people jump at opportunities, taking action instead of finding excuses to procrastinate. He also explains how anyone, regardless of their goals, can learn how to stop procrastinating by using the “Seinfeld Strategy.” The “Seinfeld Strategy” is a useful tip put forward by successful comedian, Jerry Seinfeld that involves completing a small task everyday as a way to motivate you to complete your goals.

The interview also touched upon effective strategies for avoiding common mistakes that people often make while trying to achieve their goals, the science of how your brain processes habits, and how to reverse bad habits while learning new, helpful ones. James also discussed the importance of developing a stronger identity and believing in yourself and how to make big changes in your life without becoming overwhelmed.
