ScottMadden to Sponsor and Present at Shared Services & Outsourcing Week 2014

ATLANTA - Feb. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- ScottMadden, Inc., a general management consulting firm, is proud to join leading industry players as a sponsor for IQPC’s 18th Annual North American Shared Services & Outsourcing Week (http://www.sharedservicesweek.com/),being held Wednesday, March 12 through Friday, March 14 at the Disney Contemporary in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This event will include presentations, practical workshops, and networking opportunities. Brad DeMent, partner and finance and accounting practice area leader at ScottMadden, will serve as conference chair.

ScottMadden will present an interactive workshop, “Shared Services 101: The Fundamentals of Designing, Building, and Implementing Shared Services.” This practical workshop will provide a wealth of practical information for all shared services practitioners. In addition, ScottMadden will conduct an advanced workshop, “(Mature 501) Next Generation SSCs: A Step-by-Step Guide to Creating that Next Layer of Value.” This workshop, developed for those who have been in their shared services journey for more than three years, will explore best practices to achieve improved operations.

Scott Manning, partner and corporate & shared services practice area leader at ScottMadden, will present, “Realize the Potential of Adopting a Formal Analytics Function to Produce Meaningful Data and Actionable Insights.” This session will reveal the benefits of analytics, present findings from our 2013 Analytics Survey, and draw conclusions pertaining to support functions. This client case study will also demonstrate how analytics significantly increased the success of these functions.

Lastly, Tina Krebs, partner and human resources practice area leader at ScottMadden, will present, “The Talent Trap: How to Incite Drive and Ensure Your Shared Services Organization is not a Dead End Destination.” This session will examine tactics for attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talent.
