BARDSTOWN, Ky. - March 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Bardstown, the “Bourbon Capital of the World,” pours on the fun this spring, with events at all major attractions, plus last year’s popular Racing with the Spirits/Bardstown Sampler event returning for its second year. Colonials, Spirits and more

The Civil War Museum of the Western Theatre and Wickland, Home of Three Governors host Colonial Days Weekend, April 11-13. Relive the 18th century at a Market Fair in Old Bardstown Village and see Colonial re-enactors, living history demonstrations, military drills and displays, a Native American display depicting the Eastern Tribes and more. The 18th Century Tavern Night will be held Friday night at the circa 1779 Talbott Tavern and a historical ball will take place on Saturday evening at Wickland. www.BardstownColonialDays.com

Wickland, Home of Three Governors will also host the 2nd Annual Derby Preview on Sun., April 6, an afternoon of foods and fashions from Bardstown’s stores and showcasing Kentucky Derby hats by Gloriela's Designs. Trainiacs take note
