MSys Organizes a Blood Donation Camp in Its Premises With Active Participation From Its Employees

CHENNAI, India - Feb. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- CHENNAI, INDIA (26 FEB 2014)—MSys Technologies is a Chennai-based technology company that focuses on various industry verticals such as storage, cloud computing, virtualization, embedded systems, and software quality assurance. Epitomizing MSys’s corporate social responsibility was the recent blood donation camp that happened in the company’s premises on February 7, 2014.

In the blood donation camp, at least sixty percent of the MSys workforce participated. The camp was presided over by Dr. Manoj Beno and was covered by both print and electronic media. The camp was organized by Dindigul Blood Bank, a premier blood donation chain in Chennai.

Profile of the Chief Guest

Dr. Manoj Beno is better known to Indians as Chennai’s official physician for the international cricket teams. He has been holding this position for the last four years. Since the age of 30, Dr. Beno has been working as the medical director of Billroth group of hospitals. Before Billroth, he ran the intensive cardiac care department of Malar Hospitals, Adyar, besides being a practicing physician.

This is not the first time that MSys has done a similar thing. MSys employees have a history of effecting a social change. To note an example, last year, two technology teams from within the company visited a home for the underprivileged and provided blankets, dresses, and books for children.

The blood donation camp has been a success at MSys with a large number of professionals participating, including senior managers, engineers, and ladies. The camp was organized between 11 am and 5:30 pm on February 7 and was covered by four major TV channels in Chennai.
