Follow on Google News | IHSE USA introduces new KVM fiber optic matrix switch solutionsNow offering the Draco tera compact in fiber optic switch enclosures from 8 port to 80 ports
By: IHSE USA, LLC Building on the field proven technology found in the Draco tera enterprise, the 480c fiber optic series brings a full set of high performance features at an affordable price. It is a simple operation to set up and configure the matrix with the on-screen display (OSD) or through any of the available software bundles supporting the feature-enhanced Draco tera tool set. For those who prefer a third party control application, the 480c can be configured to operate with many popular control systems using the IHSE optional API protocol package. Transmitter (CPU) or Receiver (CON) extenders can be connected with singlemode fiber up to 10km from switch enclosure. Extenders can accommodate a variety of signal formats and the matrix switch auto-senses the individual units through any available port on the chassis. By simply connecting the extender to the chassis, the internal control software will recognize and auto configure the port as a CPU or console device. IHSE USA’s flex-port technology provides huge time savings benefits for system installers who normally have to pre-configure ports to specific I/O requirements. The 480c includes instant switching technology for all the popular formats up to and including Dual Link DVI resolutions up to 2560 x 2048 at 50/60Hz and full 24 bit resolutions. With incredible processing speed, switching between sources is glitch-free and instantaneous thus reducing eye strain and annoying video tearing found with other systems. With the small footprint and ruggedized chassis design, the 480c is the perfect KVM space-saving solution when centralized switching of KVM is necessary. It is especially suited for mobile production studios, medical training classrooms, factory floor automation control systems, board rooms, production studios, and command and control environments for government and military requirements.
