Atlantic Biologicals Announces the Promotion of Jessica Benson to Unit Dose Product Manager

MIAMI - Feb. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Atlantic Biologicals, a premier national distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceuticals and unit dose products in the United States and Puerto Rico, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Benson to Unit Dose Product Manager effective immediately. In her new position, Benson will be responsible for all facets of the Atlantic Biologicals’ Unit Dose product line including ordering, inventory management, and vendor relations.

Benson has been with Atlantic Biologicals since April 2009, previously holding the positions of Inventory Manager and Warehouse Manager. During her time at the company, she has been a key member of the operations and logistics team. She assists with handling all transportation issues, successfully closing claims, and facilitates with training of new personnel for these departments. She has also diligently monitored distribution areas for compliance with: ABC’s internal S.O.P’s, DEA and FDA Regulations with regard to product movement and storage. Additionally, she also plays a significant role in implementing ABC’s S.O.P’s as needed. In her new role, Benson is excited to hit the ground running.

Benson has over 16 years of hands-on experience and training in the areas of pharmaceutical compliance/regulations, operations/logistics, and inventory management, of which five were with Atlantic Biologicals. Additionally, she has attended CGMP Training seminars and is well familiarized with Florida State Statutes, chapter 499 regulations.
