COPC Introduces Dr. Larry Blosser as its new Outpatient Medical Director

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Feb. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Central Ohio Primary Care (http://copcp.com/home/central-ohio-primary-care) is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Larry Blosser (http://copcp.com/northwest-family-physicians/providers/t-laurence-blosser-m-d) as its new Outpatient Medical Director. Dr. Blosser obtained his M.D. from The Ohio State University and completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital. In 1984, Dr. Blosser joined COPC Northwest Family Physicians (http://copcp.com/northwest-family-physicians/practice-overview/practice-overview) and will continue this practice in addition to his new role with our company.

Dr. Blosser has significant administrative and leadership experience. He is currently the Chair of OhioHealth’s Primary Care Physician (http://copcp.com/home/central-ohio-primary-care) Clinical Guidance Council, President of the OhioHealth Medical Staff and Chair of their Primary Care Physician Work Group. Dr Blosser is also a member of the COPC Coding Leadership group. In these roles, Dr. Blosser has facilitated solving operational and physician satisfaction issues and has worked with the development of strategies to support population health management as they relate to primary care. We look forward to his leadership at a time when there are so many opportunities in primary care.
