By: Human Animal Link of Oklahoma “We’re thankful to S&B for this opportunity to connect with our community,” said Terri Smith, Executive Director of H.A.L.O. “I’m excited to communicate to those unaware the therapeutic benefits our qualified handlers, with their personal pets, offer those of all ages who may be undergoing transition, trauma or crisis.” H.A.L.O. volunteer handlers will be available to discuss their experiences and the benefits of pet therapy in more than 12 different avenues. Only volunteer handlers will be present at this event. “Pay it Forward” is S&B’s outreach for charitable organizations that meet certain criteria. Monetary benefits will be earmarked for volunteer insurance, vests, and identifying patches for qualified dogs. S&B Burger Joint is located at 14020 N. May in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. H.A.L.O. animal assisted therapy teams visit over 60 facilities and agencies throughout Oklahoma, serving our youth, adults, and elderly. Residents, or those visiting the state, benefit from the professional standards our trained teams offer to those in times of transition, stress, trauma, and crisis.
