Wooplr app launches personalised location mapping facility!

BANGALORE, India - Feb. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Bangalore based local discovery platformWooplr.com (http://www.wooplr.com) has announced the launch of a new feature on their Android app which allows users to locate the best places to eat and shop at close to them.

The ‘nearby’ feature on the app is a unique tracking facility that locates places convenient for you to shop, explore and eat at based on where you are at that instant. The feature comes with a search option which allows users to look for specific recommendations based on their mood and choice. The option also allows a user to locate exactly where to go and get in touch with his/her destination should the need arise.

With this feature, Wooplr shows you what's good nearby from friends, shopaholics and foodies, wherever you are. This feature is a disruption in the way product discovery is done in the fashion and food space. It will enable people to experience shopping & eating out like never before.

Imagine you are in the mood for a 'burger' and would like to know about the eateries in a 2 km radius around  you that have burgers. The Wooplr app will show you all the burger recommendations from foodies from restaurants around you as blips on a map. Or perhaps you want to know where you can get 'bow ties' in Koramangala. Again 'Woop it' and it will show you stores that sell bow ties (via recommendations).

This feature enables ‘hyperlocal discovery’ showing you glimpses of the future of shopping with options at your fingertips. The feature is portrayed on a map which makes it that much easier to locate where each recommendation has come from in the list of choices offered to a user. The feature gives users a taste of what new age shopping apps will feel like. There’s not much one is left wanting with as the nearby feature seals the deal in terms of any want for information or queries there of. The feature also allows you to get the exact address of the store you might want or the contact number of a restaurant so you can book a table right away.
