PRLog - Feb. 25, 2014 - DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Pat Balvanz, of Dubuque, Iowa, has published a book entitled Never Too Late to Bloom: Becoming the Woman You Were Meant to Be. Readers may download the Kindle version from Amazon.com, at no cost, beginning Thursday, February 27, for five days.
Writing for women in the latter half of life, Balvanz tells the story of her own blooming. She cites the 30 year life bonus many people can now enjoy because of increasing life expectancy and asks her readers to consider what they might do with the rest of their lives to fulfill their dreams. Then she provides a blueprint for accomplishing those dreams. The book takes an unflinching look at the possible detours and distractions which could stand in the way, and shows the reader how to remove them.
Balvanz is an online coach, blogger and mentor for late blooming women. She describes her coaching style as “joining hands and hearts” with her clients to focus on their dreams so that they may move purposefully toward achieving them. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois.
You were put here for a purpose, Balvanz says, and when you find that purpose, you will be unstoppable. She poses three questions:
1. What do you want to do with the rest of your life?
2. What’s stopping you?
3. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Balvanz quotes from many sources, from Erma Bombeck to the Bible. The book is at once serious and light hearted, pointed and laid back. You may recognize yourself in its pages, but never fear, Balvanz will show you how you can overcome any perceived obstacle to achieve your desires.
