Estes Audiology Set for an Austin Grand Opening in April, 2014

AUSTIN, Texas - Feb. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Estes Audiology, a leading provider of hearing healthcare with locations in both New Braunfels and Boerne, announces the grand opening of its Austin location this coming April, 2014.   Founded and owned by Soriya Estes, Au.D., an Advisory Council Member and Guest Lecturer within the Moody College of Communications at the University of Texas – Austin, Estes Audiology tailors its hearing healthcare services to its clients’ individual hearing needs, offering bespoke hearing healthcare services and customized hearing protection, devices and accessories.   This newest hearing healthcare center will be centrally located in Austin within the 26 Doors Shopping Center, off of 35^th Street, directly across from Seton Hospital.

HAAM provides low-cost primary health care services, basic dental care and mental health counseling for local area musicians.

Since 2009, Estes Audiology as the hearing healthcare sponsor for HAAM, has spearheaded the HEAR Clinics by providing quarterly hearing healthcare screenings for musician members of HAAM.  During these clinics, volunteer Estes Audiology Audiologists with the assistance of UT-Austin Audiology doctoral students provide hearing healthcare exams for member/musicians. In addition to the testing, custom ear canal impressions of each musician are taken so that personalized fitted earplugs can be provided to each member at a nominal cost.  Since its inception, over 1000 HAAM musicians have been screened and have received custom earplugs.
