Soldier starts Christian based business in Atlanta after combat tour

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. - March 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Welcome to the home inspection firm that is leaps and bounds ahead of the rest.  Beginning in mid-2013, after a year serving in combat, Jonathan Holland, a resident of Douglasville, GA, continues his support of his community with his new service of providing home inspections.  Introducing Georgia Integrity Home Inspections, LLC.  “A long name for a company” he says, “but it is filled with rich content.  It means something.”  Holland goes on to talk about how he believes his mission now is to support the public with, what he calls, the most important thread in life, integrity.  Internationally certified to perform home inspections, Holland has been doing this type of work, in some form or another, for over twelve years.

The main clientele for this business includes home buyers, sellers, investors, and insurance companies.  Although buyers, working through Realtors, comprise the largest number of home inspections performed today, Georgia Integrity would like to change that up a bit.  Georgia Integrity wants to re-introduce the Pre-Listing (Sellers) inspection to the market and preach its benefits to the heavens.  Although the Buyers Inspection has many practical uses, and it is typical of the industry, the Sellers Inspection has the enormous benefits and uses dealing with marketing for both the house and the realtor.

The message Jonathan Holland wants to communicate to the home sellers is practical. He says, “Imagine that you are trying to sell your house.  Since the Atlanta-area housing market is improving, this should be easy, right?  You hire a Realtor, and put it in the paper... nine months later, the sign the realtor put in your front yard has grass growing up around its base, and it is looking kind of dumpy.  Enter Georgia Integrity Home Inspections, stage right.  This time, envision yourself knowing your Atlanta-area house is ready to be put on the market, and you know it is ready because your realtor suggested you get a Sellers Inspection prior to listing it.  So, this time, when your Realtor puts his or her sign in your front yard, along comes your home inspector who also puts his sign in the yard, beside the realty sign.  The inspector’s sign reads, “This home has been pre-inspected by Georgia Integrity Home Inspections and is certified Move-In ready.”  When your potential buyers read that sign, they understand the home owner took maintenance needs seriously.  It says this seller is being forthright, and honestly being upfront about the condition of the house.  It says the seller is willing to disclose issues, and suggests that maybe the issues identified by a third-party inspector have already been taken care of by the seller.  To the Realtor, this sign says it should be a fast easy closing.

When potential buyers walk into your house, the home that you have lived in and loved for years, they will see the inspection report, accompanied by the repair invoices and maintenance receipts for the items identified on the report.  When these potential buyers leave after viewing your house, instead of just taking a flyer of house information, that may be lost by the time they drive down the road, they take a copy of the inspection report as well.  Now, that is much harder to lose, and it makes your home standout in the stack of flyers about your competitor’s houses!

What’s more, your potential buyers are feeling encouraged and thinking about the fact that they will not have to spend his or her down payment money on an inspection because the condition of the home has already been established.  Furthermore, the asking price is substantiated by the home inspection report.

Of course, just because the seller secures a Pre-Listing Home Inspection, it doesn’t mean he has to repair all of the items noted.  But, if he does choose to repair the items, then he gets to handpick the repair contractors, in his own time-frame, instead of feeling rushed.  Consequently, the seller can negotiate for competitive pricing with the contractors, and not feel pressured to hire the buyer’s choice.

Jonathan Holland asks home sellers and Real Estate professionals alike, “What is the true value of a Pre-Listing Home Inspection”? Perhaps the worth is evident when the house sells in three months, instead of nine months. Or maybe the value comes from the peace of mind you have after the contract is signed, and you can rest assured in the fact that there will likely be no surprises pop up during the buyer’s due diligence period.

No eleventh-hour hang ups!  Complete transparency and a fast sale!  The Pre-Listing Sellers Inspection is touted by the Association of Realtors and well-respected financial professionals like Dave Ramsey.  This type of home inspection is a specialty of Georgia Integrity Home Inspections.  If the property is not located in Georgia, that is okay, call them anyway!  If they can’t perform the inspection themselves, then they always have a connection that will provide the utmost in quality service and expertise.
