You might ask "how could I educate my guests?" Why not give them a free travel guide or tell them of the tourist traps or places they should avoid. Use information that can captivate your guests interest and attention and you will be heading in the right direction, Jay says.
The 2nd E is to entertain. Owners sometimes have a hard time with this one but all they need to do is think of something that can make their guests smile, laugh or peak their interest.
Dont be such a bore, learn how to be creative and you'll get the attention of your customers and draw them into your vacation home.
The 3rd E according to Jay is the most powerful of all E's. The 3rd E is the invoking of emotions. You have to pull out the emotion from your guests and bring emotions to the surface. "You have to make people feel" says Jay.
He went on further to say emotions make people act. People do things because they feel something, whether the feeling is fear, joy or security purchases are made from an emotion.
Create an emotion that can tie people together with your vacation rental or product and by making them relate, they will react and reach out to you.
