LITTLETON, Colo. - Feb. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Excerpt from Craig Hill’s Blog “Change Course (http://www.familyfoundations.com/2013/12/change-course/)!” published on December 31, 2013.

The visibility was poor with patchy fog, so the captain would remain on the bridge through the night.

Shortly after dark, the lookout on the wing of the bridge reported, “light, bearing on the starboard bow?”

“Is it steady or moving astern?” the captain called out.

“Steady, captain,” which meant they were on a dangerous collision course with another ship.

The captain then called the signalman. “Signal that ship, ‘We are on a collision course, advise you change course 20 degrees.’”

Back came a signal, “Advisable for you to change course 20 degrees.”

The captain replied, “I’m a captain, change course 20 degrees.”

“I’m a seaman second class,” came the reply. “You had better change your course 20 degrees.”

The captain was furious.  He spat out, “Send, I’m a battleship, Change course 20 degrees.”

Back came the flashing signal light, “I’m a lighthouse.”

Principles in the Word of God are like lighthouses, they’re immovable and unchangeable.  Craig Hill calls those principles “Ancient Paths”.  By definition, they are basically universal life principles that cause life to function.

For example, in the natural realm gravity affects every person exactly the same.  You may jump from a cliff proclaiming that you can fly, but the unchangeable principle of gravity will quickly disprove that claim at the point where gravity and bedrock meet.

In Hosea 4:6, the bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” What knowledge is that?  It’s the biblical principles that make life work.   That’s why Jan and Craig Hill developed the Ancient Paths seminars (http://www.familyfoundations.com/seminars/).  And they want to encourage you to attend one in your area.  Those who have, tell us their lives are changed forever.  To learn more, click here.
