It's the closing show of Merecedes-Benz New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center.
EDGE Fashion Group is honored to have a front row seat at the FTL MODA+Art Hearts Fashion Presented by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
Eleven designers will showcase their unique and amazing designs. Among these designers is Control Sector. A fashion forward street wear line, Control Sector pushes the envelope on non-traditional menswear. Matching fitted knits with oversize length shirts, it takes street wear and the fit of it to a whole other level.
Control Sector show opened with full on energy complementing the bold intriguing designs which captivated the guests from the start. A young man seated next to me, continuously complemented the designs while picking out key pieces he stated he must have for his collection. The target audience continued to pay attention collectively as one
re-invented staple piece of street wear to the next, came down the runway.
The designers showcased a palette of black, shades of grey, blue and white garments which reflected a European modern street wear style. The layers of long shirts with fitted sweaters paired with below the knee length shorts and sneakers. Each outfit offered a clean lined look for street wear while switching up the usual lengths and fits. Control Sector delivered a new age twist on street wear in an ingenious way.
The designers of Control Sector are comprised of three Fashion Institute of Technology attendees; Brothers Luke Dennihan and Adam Thomison; with partner Maxwell Amadeus. The lifestyle brand that combines an aggressive mix of influences launched in June 2013th. Control Sector has intrigued and excited us all. We are looking forward to seeing the brand in stores across North America this Spring.
