The Competitive Edge Series Goes Regional with Panelist Gary Sapir Presenting via Video Conference

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Feb. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- The panelists of the "Competitive Edge Series", extending accelerated job search tools for HR in Transition, are all very excited to announce that their grass roots outreach has grown into a regionally accessible medium using video conferencing. Our special guest speaker, Gary Sapir , Past President of ASTD, (American Society of Training and Development), Fort Lauderdale Chapter, HRABC, (Human Resources Association of Broward County), and Past Member of the Executive Board of Directors of HRPBC, (Human Resource Management Association of Palm Beach County), will lead a semi-interactive discussion on polishing interview skills. He will reveal the correct way to prepare for the interview, how to create instant rapport with the interviewer, what you should be prepared to discuss, and what questions you should ask in the interview to convey your interest, competence and preparedness for the job.

Sapir, a recognized speaker at many National and Local conferences, also conducts workshops on behavioral interviewing for hiring managers.

The Competitive Edge Series, now in it's 5th year as a direct and indirect partner of almost seven SHRM, (Society of Human Resource Mgmt), Southeast Florida chapters, is specifically designed for HR professionals who might be active or passively looking to create interviewing opportunities within their local HR job market. The free workshops are scheduled as a series of 45 minute video conferences that will repeat on the first Tuesday of every month at 5:35PM. In person workshops, held at the Delray Beach Public Library just East of I95, will also run from 9:30AM to 11:00AM on April 1 and then again at the Weston in Ft Lauderdale on April 9.
