PRLog - Feb. 21, 2014 - Granted you could eat virtually anything edible and still have a rocking body, but if you are a creature of habit, and most of us are, you are what you eat. For example, if you eat fried foods and you store fat easily, you are fat. You eat a healthy dose of fruits and chances are you seldom get sick. It just works that way. Food and how we store it is the root to who we are.
How to Eat More Lose Weight Naturally
Food is meant to supply our body with the nutrients it needs and that is all. We are not bears, therefore we do not need to eat like we are going to hibernate. Eating light and frequent is more like a bird and that is how we should eat. Most of us were trained to eat three meals a day and the last meal usually is the biggest, right? Well, that is all wrong; you should eat lightly throughout your day and never a lot at any one time.
If you are not willing to change the three meal routine, then the first meal of the day is or should consist of the energy foods. Begin your day with the best energy foods filled with vitamins, carbohydrates, and proteins to give your body what it needs to function at its best. The mid day meal should be just a snack, as a top off of energy to finish your most exertive part of the day. Then, to finish the day, choose a tasty but light main course meal. You don’t want to sleep on a full tank. Take a brisk walk after you eat and increase your heart rate during this walk.
If we will mentally focus on what we plan to do for a given day and the tasks that are involved and then eat accordingly, we will manage our meals and our bodies far more efficiently. If it’s a work day, eat for energy and stamina, if it’s a off day and you plan on lounging more than not, eat light and skip a meal altogether.
Fruits should replace sugary treats and that way we can still satisfy our sweet tooth without the negative effects that sugar can play on our fat storage. Think about it this way, after the flavor has gone, when we swallow, why give ourselves something that will just hang around, our waist, our thighs, our love handles, etc.
Food is not for comfort, food is just a fuel. If you think of it in that sense, you will manage what foods you eat much easier and in turn control what you do with your body. In order to manage your body’s shape and condition, you have to manage what you put in it. You don’t have to count calories just remember to eat only when your body tells you it is hungry and eat slowly to get full faster. Eating fast causes over eating.
In order to make changes to your physical body as far as losing weight or improving your food intake for better nutrients, do not think of it as a diet. Diets are a temporary adjustment and almost always fail because we revert back to old habits and types of foods we want to enjoy. Once you understand that its either you control the intake or let the foods dictate how they will control your body you will have succeeded in gaining the results you are trying to achieve.
The latest craze is a supplement combination that helps you lose weight without dieting or exercising; taking a garcinia cambogia supplement pill in the morning, followed with a detox max supplement pill in the evening. The theory and actual results are based on giving your body an energy boost to get going and a detox to cleanse your leftovers lingering at the end of the day. Within a few days you will see a noticeable weight loss.
Something that is very beneficial in managing your meals is to always keep a chart or pictures of what portions will give us a balanced meal. If you know what you want to eat, you also need to know how much is within your limits. Setting portion size has made the major diet programs a fortune. Learning to eat smaller portions is the main focus toward losing and maintaining a healthier diet.
