NR Road Racing presents a chocolatey good time. We are offering you sweet treats to keep you going throughout the 5k. Yes there will still be water stations, but for those of you with a sweet tooth, you can also have a little piece of joy. Enjoy a family-friendly three mile course with your friends, family, and other choc-oholic strangers. It doesn’t matter how fast or old you are; everyone is welcome to participate and join in the fun! After the race, we’ll be still partying and filling up with chocolate. You are invited to hang out and party to the music and have some more chocolate on us! Family and friends are always encouraged to join in the party at the end!
ASNC works with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families every day providing advocacy, training and education, and direct care. Autism is the second most common developmental disability affecting 1 of every 70 children born in North Carolina. The mission of ASNC is to provide support and promote opportunities that enhance the lives of individuals within the autism spectrum and their families.
“The Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC) is looking forward to The Chocolate 5K coming to Charlotte. As the leading autism resource in North Carolina, ASNC depends on help from supporters like NR Road Racing to provide for the over 60,000 families in North Carolina affected by autism,” said Kristy White, Director of Development at ASNC.
