CAPON BRIDGE, W.Va. - Feb. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Feb. 21-2014 -- Tech Diva Media’s owner and lead creative was recently interviewed by Billye Thompson on a podcast for The Entrepreneur’s Edge. She delved into the many ins and outs of marketing and advertising in today’s digital world.

Along with other tips, Chelsea explained the importance of utilizing You-Tube and social media as a means to drive traffic to websites. She also explained how small businesses and entrepreneurs can combine both paid and unpaid advertising methods in order to optimize the effectiveness of their marketing. “Using that (You-Tube) in combination with paid traffic such as Facebook ads and Google ads really makes it so that today you can launch your site, and tomorrow have traffic going to it”.

She went on to explain in detail, the best way to make Google ads work for advertising and the most effective ways to utilize Facebook ads and pages. She also explained why mailing lists are important and how businesses can encourage customers to sign up for them. “I think the way to approach this is to certainly offer something for them to opt into. Definitely don’t just say “sign up for my newsletter” because, nobody wants more e-mail”.

Chelsea also discussed other practical ways that entrepreneurs can utilize resources that they may have previously overlooked. She delves into ways that entrepreneurs can increase their credibility through free Kindle publishing and by creating paperback books through Amazon using CreateSpace.com. She also explains how hiring freelancers to handle time consuming or difficult tasks can actually save time and money.
