“The donations go directly into helping Southwest Florida,” says Mitchell. “This event helps Goodwill continue its programs and services across the area.”
The event also takes place during the Boston Red Sox’2014 week of community service (Feb. 21-26). Members of the Red Sox uniformed personnel and front office staff will be helping collect donations throughout the day. ABC7 will also be on-hand throughout the day broadcasting live.
