Business Biscotti co-founder and director Sue Reeves travelled from Reading to join Mayor of Cheshire East Councillor Dorothy Flude and members of the business community at the event, at the Golf Club House at Wychwood Park at Weston near Crewe, where she told the gathering how the number of new Biscotti Gold groups was growing rapidly.
“The Biscotti Gold concept enables club members to remain in control,” explained Sue. “The membership can create the club that suits them and their style of networking rather than having to conform to a system that was designed by somebody else.”
Business Biscotti Gold Regional Director, Pete Clowes told attendees that entrepreneurs he had met over recent months had complained that some networking organisations were becoming ‘rather prescriptive’
“But Biscotti Gold enables the members of the club to retain control,” he added. “The membership can jointly agree to the aims of their club, how often it meets, the length of meetings and the best location. Clubs like these are democratic institutions whose aim to assist its membership.
“Cheshire has recently launched its very first Biscotti Gold Club and I know that its membership is excited about its prospects. I suspect it won’t be long until we see more Biscotti Gold networking clubs sprouting up across the region.
“In this day and age, networking is an essential element of good business. And that’s one of the reasons why Business Biscotti and Biscotti Gold are becoming so popular.”
