Each stop on the tour will consist of an hour panel discussion with the hosting brewery moderated by Brewbound’s editor Chris Furnari. The shared discussions are then followed by a networking reception. Each of the Brew Talk events are free to attend with the goal of bringing together craft brewers and other beer industry professionals to network and learn from one another. The Southeast Brew Talk’s will kick off with the first stop on the tour at Sweetwater Brewing Company in Atlanta, GA. One of the fastest growing breweries in the southeast, Sweetwater quadrupled their capacity in 2013. Year’s after bringing their west coast style of beer making, Sweetwater will celebrate their 17th anniversary on Sunday February 23rd. Discussions will be centered around some of the strategic decisions that had facilitated Sweetwater’s growth and solidified their status amount the top U.S. craft Breweries. Following stops on the tour include Fullsteam Brewery in Durham N.C. and Devils Backbone in Lexington, VA.
