The GTO 1962 Bizzarrini Edition is a most extraordinary line of Swiss mechanical chronographs containing - in its watch case - original material of one of the world's most valuable sports car - the Ferrari 250 GTO built in 1962 and owned today by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason.
Besides numerous design elements inspired by the car, the watch also carries the original signature of Giotto Bizzarrini - the engineer that created the GTO in the early 60s (it was launched in 1962) - on its sapphire crystal.
This remarkable edition - limited to 250 pieces - is powered by a finely decorated Swiss Manufacture La Joux-Perret chronograph movement visible through the sapphire-crystal in its caseback.
Manufactured in a rare artisanal process combining traditional crafts as well as modern technology, each timepiece is a unique work of art preserving the DNA of the iconic GTO.
Further details include: 42mm case diameter, Scalfaro Ceramic DNA Intarsia, off-shape bezel, choice of black natural rubber strap incl. cylinder ignition pattern of the Colombo V12 engine or Horween shell cordovan strap, elegant folding buckle, water-resistant to 100m (330ft).

ABOUT: SCALFARO - WATCHES FOR ENTHUSIASTS
Scalfaro is a family-owned watch company founded by brothers Alexander and Dominik Kuhnle in 2001.
At Scalfaro we manufacture only mechanical timepieces because we feel they have a soul and are mechanically fueled by human movement as opposed to cold, synthetic batteries.
We believe that an object accumulates the energy and attention it receives during its creation process. Therefore we make sure our timekeepers radiate with the passion and personal touch of the master craftsmen that bring them to life in our Swiss ateliers.
Furthermore SCALFARO excels in exclusive high-end editions connected to the field of classic cars due to our proprietary innovations such as the SCALFARO Ceramic Intarsia Technology. Based on this technological advantage we transform genuine material of iconic objects into technical masterpieces that carry emotions, bring pleasure to people and tell intriguing stories. By skillfully blending history with technological modernity we preserve the legends and achievements of the past and proudly carry their fascination into our modern age.
Take a look at our website www.scalfaro.com and you will see that at Scalfaro we do not just manufacture beautiful fine timepieces, but create “watches with a story to tell”. We like to think of our timepieces as a kind of Talisman – a Grigri as the French say - accompanying our customers through their daily life and linking them with their passion. In short: Watches for Enthusiasts.
