PLANO, Texas - Feb. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Has your pet ever put his face right in your face to show you some love, but the smell made you offer him a mint.  Bad pet breath can be more than just unpleasant, it can be a warning sign that your pet has or is developing dental disease.

This Friday, February 21, from 11:00am to 2:00pm, All Creatures of Plano Veterinary Center will offer Free Pet Dental Check-ups to help you assess the condition of your pet's teeth. (This is a come and go event, no appointment necessary)

Studies have shown that 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over age three have some form of oral disease?  If left untreated, bacteria from the teeth and gums can spread through the bloodstream and affect other body systems.  At All Creatures, we are dedicated to using preventative care to change the statistics of dental disease for pets.

Pet owners attending the Free Pet Dental Check-Up event will receive an assesment from a Certified Veterinary Assistant or a DVM on the condition of their pet's teeth, a report to take home, a free bag of Hill's New Pet Dental Chews and a saving certificate for future pet care.
