“As a nation, we’ve fallen in and out of love with Baking for decades.” said Gwawr from Lolfa Cynin. “The combination of the BBC’s Great British Bake Off and recent food scandals have driven many of us to grow, prepare and bake our own food. Not only is its popularity increasing at a rapid pace, but it’s cheaper too!”
The success of the BBC’s Great British Bake Off has inspired the nation to get baking. Interest in home baking has almost doubled since 2011 with 14% of adults baking at least twice a week. WI membership has also increased by more than 50,000 members during the first two series of the popular BBC show.
Spaces are limited and are subject to availability. The total cost of the package is £185.50 per person, discounted to £147 each when two people share a double or twin room. This includes two day’s baking, ingredients, food on arrival, dinner, bed, breakfast and full use of Leisure Club
