Common Core Readiness - Is Visions In Education number 1????

Visions In Education changing the way students learn, engage, and succeed.

PRLog - Feb. 18, 2014 - SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Visions In Education is proud to announce many changes for the 2014-15 school year:

·       The student Home School Academy budget is being increased from $1,600 to $1,700.

·       Visions has broken its all time enrollment record and is now serving more than 4,900 students.

·       Fall enrollment will be capped at 5,000 students.

·       Two of the three academies are implementing Gradpoint, an intuitive online student to teacher interface that enhances learning, encourages creativity and increases accountability for students.

Visions In Education is a California K-12 public charter school that offers three unique programs serving more than 4,900 students in nine counties. Home School Academy is a home school program in which parents act as the primary instructor and receive the support of a credentialed teacher. Teachers in this program facilitate state testing and provide curriculum support to the parents. Visions offers two unique independent study programs; Independent Study High School and University Prep Academy. These programs allow students to earn their diploma while working towards their next step in life, whether college, university, or career. Students are given learning resources including chromebooks and access to teachers that allow for a flexible schedule and academic success.
