Follow on Google News | NAWBO of South Jersey Announces the Winner of the Feed Your Hunger ContestBy: NAWBO South Jersey The theme of the Feed Your Hunger contest was inspired by the keynote speaker for the upcoming 2014 Beyond the Glass Ceiling Awards Gala, Dr. Robin Smith, national television personality, best-selling author, and licensed psychologist. It challenged the women of South Jersey to answer this question, “What are you hungry for?” Dr. Robin Smith has courageously chronicled her own experiences with being emotionally and spiritually hungry in her groundbreaking book, Hungry: The Truth About Being Full, released last February, 2013. “I am so proud of all the Feed Your Hunger contestants," As the winner, Helena Duzenski received a free VIP ticket to the Beyond the Glass Ceiling Awards Gala, a signed copy of Dr. Robin Smith’s book, a free ticket to an upcoming event with Aldonna Ambler in March, and one-on-one time with an expert to help her feed her hunger. “I am so thankful to everyone who viewed the video submissions and voted,” said Helena when she found out she won the contest. “The response that I received was really heart-warming. It will be held at The Mansion in Voorhees, NJ. In recent years, the event has drawn around 300 attendees, mostly business women and men from the South Jersey region who come to honor the nominees, network, enjoy a great night out, and be inspired by the keynote’s address. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to One Year of NAWBO, a grant that offers a one-year, all-expenses paid membership to NAWBO to a woman who has recently lost significant financial support due to the death, disability, divorce, or separation of a spouse. The rest of the proceeds will be set aside for NAWBO of South Jersey’s educational events, lectures, grants, and seminars, which are open to members and non-members alike. NAWBO of South Jersey is a not-for-profit organization. About Dr. Robin Smith Dr. Robin L.
