CP Lab Safety Has a New Mission

NOVATO, Calif. - Feb. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Novato, CA – February 18, 2014

CP Lab Safety, a manufacturer and supplier of environmentally friendly laboratory safety products, announced that after eighteen years in business, they are updating their Mission Statement to better reflect their core values.

Dr. Ron Najafi, founder of CP Lab Safety, worked as a Ph.D. synthetic organic chemist for a major biotech company in the 1990s. Through his experience in the laboratory and with increased enforcement of laboratory safety regulations, Dr. Najafi developed “Safety Ecological Funnel”, also known as ECO Funnel®, to address the issue of open waste containers in the lab. Safety Ecological Funnel is a funnel with a closing lid and several special features.  His ECO Funnel® was designed to reduce exposure of workers to hazardous substances, and eliminate flammable fumes from the workplace. Safety officers and fire marshals throughout the U.S. have described CP Lab Safety's ECO Funnels as a key component in a proper fire safety program in the laboratory.

Thus, safety was the founding principal for the company’s development. In keeping with this principal, the team at CP Lab Safety elected to revise their official Mission Statement and Company Vision to reflect these governing ideals. The change allows the company to clarify their purpose both among members of staff as well as to the general public. The website has been updated to reflect the change, which reads as follows:

Our Vision Statement: To be the best safety company in the world.
