Virtual High School President to Present at 2nd Annual LearnLaunch Conference at Harvard University

MAYNARD, Mass. - Feb. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- The Virtual High School (www.thevirtualhighschool.org), nonprofit pioneer of K-12 online learning, today announced that its President & CEO, Jeffrey A. Elliott, will participate in a panel discussion titled Blended Learning Models: What Works? on February 28, 2014 at 6 pm at the 2nd Annual LearnLaunch Conference, being held at Harvard University.

The premier education technology conference in New England, LearnLaunch gathers over 500 edtech leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, strategic players, investors, students and other industry players to promote dialogue about the impact of digital learning on the future of K-12 education in the United States. The conference will examine the potential of technology to tangibly improve learning and educational access, as well as explore market and investment opportunities.

“Blended learning is a proven model that is helping us achieve better student outcomes,” said Elliott. “For nearly 20 years, we have helped secondary schools provide high quality and innovative online and blended learning programs.  I am looking forward to sharing our experiences with educators at LearnLaunch.”

The VHS mission is to provide students with access to high quality online and blended learning experiences, while supporting educators with the professional development and services they need in order to provide an effective 21st century education.
