evvnt will supply its event distribution technological platform to WOW247, which will resell the service via sales teams throughout the UK. Johnston Press will white label the evvnt platform, which primarily provides genre specific event marketing on up to 40 event listing and social media sites including Zvents, Eventful, Facebook and the Press Association network.

“The reason WOW247 exists is simply to help people across the UK find great things to do in their hometown or when they are travelling. From farmers markets and open mic nights to national theatre tours and international artists - our guides, reviews and listings are helping people plan their social lives. We’re a new site and in our launch phase we’ve seen over 1m people use WOW247 to find out what’s on,” added Steven Thomas, General Manager of WOW247 . “We’ve also seen a huge demand from local, regional and national venues and event planners to promote their events. By partnering with evvnt we can now offer an unrivaled integrated event marketing package that is low-cost and delivers results.”
