evvnt will supply its event distribution technological platform to WOW247, which will resell the service via sales teams throughout the UK. Johnston Press will white label the evvnt platform, which primarily provides genre specific event marketing on up to 40 event listing and social media sites including Zvents, Eventful, Facebook and the Press Association network.

Digital start-up WOW247 is a national online entertainment platform, part of Johnston Press Digital Ventures. Launched into beta in December 2012 it provides Guides, News, Reviews and Listings covering the whole of the UK. It has the largest event database available on the market covering categories including theatre, cinema and music. In its launch phase c1.1m unique users entered the site with 72% of traffic coming from outwith the Johnston Press network.
