Feb 22 and April 1: Metro Candidate/Elected Officials OPEN FORUM on Creative Entrepreneurship

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Feb. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- I.D.E.A.S. 40203 is a progressive, contemporary art and creative Chamber of Commerce.  While we are based in Old Louisville, we promote creative initiatives city wide . Our exclusive focus is on developing new ways for artists, entrepreneurs and other creatives to effect positive economic and social change in Louisville.

We are hosting a series of OPEN FORUMS where Metro Government candidates and officials are invited to share their vision for developing creative entrepreneurship in Louisville.

The OPEN format allows 3-5 minutes for interested candidates to "pitch" their ideas for new ways that art and entrepreneurship can be combined to CREATE The Way Forward!

Both FORUMS are open to the press and public. Everyone attending will be given social media hashtags and encouraged to provide crowd-sourced coverage and commentary of the candidate's comments in real time.

Where:  I.D.E.A.S. 40203 | 1217 S. Fourth St. (at Oak)

Open Forum #1 will be followed by Food Trucks, Art Exhibitions, Networking and Music that will take place on BOTH north and south sides of Oak Street from 7p-9p.  I.D.E.A.S. 40203 (http://www.ideaslouisville.com/) and our member, Weber Gallery/The Council on Developmental Disabilities (http://webergallery.org/) co-presents this evening where everyone gets to feel what the future holds as we promote 4th & Oak: Open For Business!

Focus: How Can Artists+Entrepreneurs Effect Digital Literacy & Social Entrepreneurship?
Date: Tuesday, April 1, 5:30 - 7 p.m.
Where: YouthBuild Louisville Campus | 812 S. Preston St. | Smoketown
In tandem with FORGE, an entrepreneurial start-up community developer.

Open Forum #2 will be followed by I.D.E.A.S. 3rd Mix + Pivot of 2014.  A multi-location, rotating event where two artists and two start-up companies do 5 minutes pitches on their projects followed bynetworking between artists, entrepreneurs and other creatives.
