Yorkshire Marketeers Launch New Service to Help Small Business Owners

Feb. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Three Yorkshire business women have launched a new service designed to help businesses improve the way they promote their products and services.

Many small business owners say they want advice and support on marketing, to help them find new customers.

“But hiring a marketing professional is not an option for many start-up or small business owners,” says Helen Dillon-Pearson, of Doncaster-based Flourish Marketing and PR.

“We’ve come across a number of entrepreneurs who know marketing and PR can help their business grow, but they can’t afford a full-time professional or a part-time consultant. So we’ve developed a service which we think will be the answer to their marketing prayers!”

MyPRGuide combines an online forum, where subscribers have access to a team of marketing and PR professionals, with a practical workbook designed to provide a blueprint to help small business owners decide which media channels are going to be most cost-effective when it comes to drumming up business.

Helen has joined forces with fellow PR and social media consultant Helen Kitchen and copywriter Vicky Austin to share their combined 50 years’ experience of promoting Yorkshire-based organisations. They’ve worked with companies including Miller Homes, Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport, Pegler Yorkshire, Hodsock Priory, Abingdon Carpets, Carrs Silver and more recently, Pastures Moo based at Manvers.

The MyPRGuide team will be exhibiting at the Business Showcase at Doncaster Racecourse on Thursday 20^th February.

“We’ll be asking visitors and our fellow exhibitors what they want to know about marketing and PR, and then sharing our answers to our Business Showcase FAQs after the event.
