PRLog - Feb. 17, 2014 - STONE, U.K. -- The Nuvo-3005LP fanless embedded computer is powered by Intel's 3rd generation i5/i7 core processors. The i5 is dual core (2.7/3.3 GHz, 3 MB cache) and the i7 is quad core (2.3/3.3 GHz, 6 MB cache). The graphics support comes from the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 Controller which can provide two independent display outputs, ideal for applications where demanding graphics are required.
The Nuvo-3005LP offers generous I/O functions such as 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 USB ports and dual independent display outputs. It also offers the options of PoE (Power over Ethernet), isolated DIO and ignition power control to extend the range of possible applications. Expansion is offered through 2 x mini PCI Express sockets, one of which has a USIM socket. The system operates from 8~25V DC input and functions well in extended temperatures from -25°C to 70°C (60°C with the i7 CPU).
The chassis offers one fixed 2.5” HDD accommodation and one hot-swappable 2.5” HDD tray. Users can take advantage of its storage design for applications that requires frequent HDD replacement. The system comes wall mounted as standard but can be used in-vehicle or with optional DIN-Rail mounting. Together with the versatile I/O, powerful processing and confident operation in extended temperatures, the Nuvo-3005LP pitches itself as a very comprehensive system for use in security and surveillance applications.
