IMC to Assist with Navy System Performance Model Accreditation

DULLES, Va. - Feb. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- On February 2, 2014, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) (http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/dahlgren/default.aspx) awarded a sole-source contract to Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC) (http://www.imcva.com/), a systems engineering and information technology company, to support accreditation of the Joint Expeditionary Collective Protection (JECP) System Performance Model (SPM). The announcement was made under contract number N0017814Q4046.

The statement of work describes the first phase of the effort to accredit the JECP SPM for its use in the developmental and operational testing and evaluation of the JECP Family of Systems.

The contract was awarded based on IMC’s extensive knowledge of simulation accreditation and its experience in successfully accrediting simulations associated with the Joint Effects Model (JEM) and the Joint Warning Network (JWARN) projects for the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO CBD).

IMC’s simulation accreditation processes leverage Department of Defense (DoD) and JPEO CBD policy and guidance as well as standards from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE), International Standards Organization (ISO), and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
