New Dynamic Duo Take On Tunbridge Wells Drain Doctor

Feb. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- High-quality renovation builder John Jenkins and wife Ashleigh are taking on the Tunbridge Wells franchise of Drain Doctor Plumbing Ltd (www.draindoctor.co.uk), the UK’s largest combined plumbing and drainage business. The franchise area covers Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Hastings, Rye and Bexhill.

Master builder John has worked in the construction industry running his own company. Until recently he has been concentrating on high-quality renovations including an exclusive holiday home in St. Ives, Cornwall. John created the spacious home from an art gallery that had formerly been a sail loft close to the harbour. He and partner Ashleigh have decided now that the time is right to concentrate on their own business in plumbing and drainage.

Ashleigh said: “John and I have been considering franchising for some time, particularly in the sector in which we have most experience, construction. John has been asked a lot recently about drain clearance.

“While I was researching online for courses in drainage I came across a number of franchise businesses for sale – but they were reluctant to provide us with detailed information. I didn’t know how to go about financing such a business and none of them seemed to want to tell me, they just wanted our money.

John continued: “We intend to expand the business significantly and make the franchise as big as possible for the area. We will have a staff of qualified plumbers and drainage technicians on call in vans fully equipped to deal with most plumbing and drainage problems.”

They hope the business will help with their work/life balance. When he is not working John spends his time supporting his sons in their sporting activities, including football and swimming.
