3rd Annual Cake Decorating Challenge for MS "Masquerade"

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. - Feb. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Just Think Cake and Supply proudly presents the 3rd Annual Cake Decorating Challenge and Show to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event will be held on Saturday April 5, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, 103 1st Street, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548.   The contest is open to all ages and skills.  Public viewing and tasting will be from 12-4 PM.

Showcase your creativity and cake decorating skills at this annual event to benefit to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.  There will be children's activities, cake tasting, professional demonstrations, vendors, raffles and a bake sale.

Categories include: Professional - Advanced - Novice - Men's Division - Youth - Children - Cupcakes - Cake Pops and Taste

Winners in each category will be chosen by a guest panel of celebrity judges and awarded prizes. There will also be a people’s choice winner.  Admission for public viewing and tasting is a $2.00 donation for adults, $1.00 for children 6-12 and 5 and under are free.

“Masquerade” is the theme for this years show, as MS symptoms are often masked and invisible to others.  We are searching for a cure for Multiple Sclerosis, and ask that you use this theme in anyway you see fit to inspire your design.

Our guest instructor this year is the talented Yvette Humbert. Yvette has been a Sugar Artist for 9 years.  She has won numerous awards in various competitions.  She has been teaching cake decorating locally and nationally for 5 years.  She is also a judge for this event.  Yvette is the owner of Amazing Cakes Of Austin, in Austin TX.  Her passion and enthusiasm for teaching and sharing her knowledge shows in each and every class she teaches.

All proceeds of the cake challenge benefit the Walk MS Fort Walton Beach which takes place on Saturday, April 12th 2014 at Uptown Station.  All entry fees are tax deductible.
