Never Give Up - On Your Dreams

Feb. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Whatever you do in life you should have the mindset of completing what you started.  Far too often people start something and never follow through with it.

This site is focused on helping people start, build and grow a business online, so I will focus this post on why giving up on your online business is not an option.

Just last week my 6-month old daughter (Syrenity) learned to crawl and it has taken her three weeks to get to this point.  If you look at the video I uploaded below you will see how she has come to this point.

When she started three weeks ago she would get frustrated and cry every now and then, but she never stopped trying.  After she stopped crying she would get back in position and try again.

Now that she has learned to crawl she is very excited to really explore the house like never before.  She has been moving like lightning and I have had a hard time trying to slow her down.

Oddly enough she has now been trying to stand up on her own.  She is falling down left and right, but she is determined to get it and I know within a few weeks she will be standing on her own and taking steps.

Now you may ask what does this have to do with starting and running a small business.

Actually everything.

Starting and running a business is a lot like learning how to crawl and walk.  You begin very excited but there will be road blocks and other hurdles you will have to overcome to succeed in business.

This process will take you to levels of frustration you have never seen before and you will have days where you just want to give up.  The problem is most people quit before really learning what they need to know to succeed in their business.

In a previous post I talk about not giving up on your dreams and the reason why most network marketers fail.  The main thing you should take from those previous post is that successful entrepreneurs never give up.

If you want to succeed in business and in life you have to push through the tough times so you can come out on the other end on top. The video below shows the perseverance of one man’s journey from an impossible situation to success.

Looking at that video you should get inspired to know that if you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything.  Far too often people give up before they really reach their true potential.

As a small business owner myself I know that tough times don’t last but tough people do.  You have to have a determination, persistence and unfailing desire to succeed at any cost or owning a business might not be the right choice for you.

Developing your mindset is vital to achieving success because many of us are trained to be employees and not entrepreneurs, so that mindset needs to be learned and developed.

I started talking about my daughter and this is true of all children.  When you are young and that age, there is no such thing as giving up.  When little kids see something they want they will not stop until they have achieved their goals.

Somewhere in the growth process that determination was lost and other people’s reality was imparted on us.  My message to you today is to tap back into your inner child and focus on your goals and never stop until you accomplish your goals.
